Youth Ministry
Youth Director: Rob and Tamara Wilson

Mission Statement:

“To foster a Christ-centered, spiritual youth group that enhances all aspects of the church and its ministries while being an active source of positive impacts throughout our community.”

The First Baptist Church Youth Group is comprised of students in 7th-12th grades.  We meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm(coinciding with the Adult Bible Study) and every Sunday from 11:00 am-12:00pm to spend time in fellowship and learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ.  Our game room now has a pool table, air hockey tables, and foosball tables along with nice, newer furniture!

Purpose:

  1. Knowledge – Teach the Gospel, the Bible, and life lessons to our youth during a time of critical importance
  2. Worship – Use music and prayer to praise the Lord, and create unity across generational gaps
  3. Leadership - Develop leaders among our youth and set them on the path toward leading for Christ
  4. Service - Instill a sense of service in the group that overflows into the church and community
  5. Evangelism – Help grow the church, youth group, and spread our faith
  6. Fellowship – Create a network of support where friendships can be made
  7. Ministry – Encourage each and every youth group member to participate in ministry at FBC Sparks
